- Refreshing this Hex on the same target before it has expired will cancel the first copy -- in other words, the healing effect will only occur once, 20 seconds after the second casting.
- This one skill can do a surprisingly good job of keeping you alive. Near the beginning of battle, cast it on several targets for a big health burst 20 seconds later. In the midst of battle, its low energy cost and quick casting time allow you to cast it on opponents just before they die for a very cheap self-heal.
- A nice tactic is to use the enemy's hex removal to your advantage for some very quick and effective healing.
- Due to its low cost and recharge, this is a common cover hex.
- Parasitic Bond ends prematurely if the caster dies.
